THE DIGITIZATION OF CHILDREN’S MINDS BY ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE: A CRITICAL ANALYSIS AND PROPOSED SOLUTIONS
Abstract
This paper explores the growing influence of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies on the cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. By combining theoretical insights with empirical data, the study investigates how AI-driven tools—such as educational platforms, voice assistants, and gamified applications—shape children's ways of thinking, decision-making, and interpersonal engagement. The research identifies both the benefits and potential risks of AI integration, highlighting concerns about diminished creativity, emotional detachment, and the erosion of critical and independent thinking. The article argues that while AI can enhance personalized learning, its use must be balanced with conscious human guidance to safeguard the natural development of children's minds.
