DEVELOPING LEXICAL COMPETENCE OF YOUNG LEARNERS IN TEACHING FOREIGN LANGUAGES
Abstract
Lexical competence is a comerstone of language learning, particularly for young learners. Traditional methods, such as rote memorization and vocabulary lists, have long been employed in classrooms. However, the advent of technology has introduced modern methods that are dynamic, interactive, and engaging. This article explores the integration of traditional and modern techniques to enhance lexical competence in young learners, ensuring a balanced and effective approach to teaching foreign languages.
