SPEECH DEVELOPMENT IN PRIMARY SCHOOL PUPILS
Abstract
The present article examines the theoretical and practical aspects of speech development in primary school pupils. The book delineates the predominant approaches to the development of oral and written speech, whilst concurrently conducting an analysis of contemporary pedagogical approaches and teaching methods. The role of the teacher, the linguistic environment, and the individual characteristics of pupils in the process of language development are given particular attention. The following recommendations are provided for the purpose of assisting primary schools in organising their work in an effective manner.
