IMPACT OF TECHNOLOGY ON STUDENT LEARNING
Abstract
This article explores the impact of technology on student learning, examining both the benefits and challenges that digital tools bring to education. Technology has transformed the learning environment, offering students new ways to access information, collaborate, and engage with educational content. Digital resources, such as online courses, interactive simulations, and educational apps, provide students with personalized learning opportunities and can accommodate diverse learning styles. Research indicates that technology can enhance understanding, retention, and motivation when effectively integrated into the classroom. However, challenges remain, including potential distractions, equity issues related to access, and the need for teachers to adapt to rapidly evolving tools. Additionally, excessive reliance on technology can hinder the development of critical thinking and interpersonal skills.
