Abstract

The article presents information about the factors and stages of the emergence of sports tourism, its direct connection with social life, cultural development, and labor processes, as well as the historical context in which it was formed and developed. It also highlights the close relationship between sports tourism and natural-geographical sciences, particularly the regional differences in the development of sports tourism in Uzbekistan based on terrain, climate conditions, and natural resources.
