THE ROLE OF MODERN BIOTECHNOLOGY IN ENSURING FOOD SECURITY AND CURRENT ISSUES IN THIS FIELD
Abstract
Currently, more than 100 countries depend on food and grain imports. The global community is facing a crisis, the essence of which lies in the imbalance between limited natural resources, the restricted capacity of the biosphere's food system, and the growing population of the Earth.
