CRITERIA AND INDICATORS FOR DEVELOPING PATRIOTISM IN STUDENTS THROUGH ART PEDAGOGY WITHIN THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS

Abstract

This article provides a scientific and theoretical analysis of the effective use of art‑pedagogical methods for shaping and fostering patriotic feelings among students. It elucidates the educational power of artistic media-particularly music education, theatre, visual arts, and literature-in cultivating national pride, historical memory, and civic stance within the pedagogical process. The study identifies criteria that promote patriotism and their practical indicators, and it proposes corresponding assessment parameters. The article also offers theoretical and practical recommendations for improving educational activities in the higher‑education system.
