Abstract
This article explores defining resistance literature against dominant ideologies ,exploring the diverse forms and themes within American resistance literature,examining the historical and socio-political context that shaped resistance literature in the 20th century.Resistance literature, in the American context of the 20th century, embodies a powerful form of expression that challenges established norms, confronts dominant ideologies, and advocates for social change. It serves as a critical voice for marginalized communities and a platform for questioning authority. This literary form encompasses diverse themes and styles, reflecting the complex historical and socio-political landscape of the era.
