ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE ACQUISITION: ENHANCING LEARNING THROUGH AI-POWERED TOOLS AND TECHNOLOGIES

Abstract

The article examines effective methods of using artificial intelligence in the process of learning foreign languages, the history of the concept of artificial intelligence (AI), AI tools similar to ChatGPT, personalized learning, quick feedback, the level of AI use in Uzbekistan, the advantages of using new versions, types of using AI tools in education, directions for the development of AI in English language learning, from a psychological point of view, AI is the ability of people to control themselves, the effectiveness of their knowledge, from a pedagogical point of view, AI helps people create an interactive and interesting learning environment, feedback from researchers on the topic, language learning through independent work outside the classroom, positive and negative aspects of conducting lessons through games, AI adapts the information obtained based on the needs and interests of people, Information is provided on how AI tools help people develop basic language learning skills such as reading, writing, listening comprehension, speaking, and language materials (dictionary, pronunciation, grammar), that the process of language learning or language teaching using AI in Uzbekistan is in its early stages, although it is being used in practice, it is in the process of testing, what to pay attention to in order to use AI tools more effectively in the educational process in Uzbekistan, that with the help of AI a person can analyze their activities, identify their strengths and weaknesses, that AI helps in making personal decisions, informs a person about mistakes and helps them choose the right path.
