PHARMACALOGY OF DRUGS BASED ON GINSENG AND THEIR THERAPEUTIC EFFECTIVENESS
Abstract
Ginseng, a widely recognized medicinal herb, has been extensively studied for its pharmacological properties and therapeutic potential. This article explores the pharmacology of ginseng-based drugs, focusing on their bioactive components, mechanisms of action, and clinical applications. Ginsenosides, the primary active constituents of ginseng, exhibit a wide range of pharmacological effects, including anti-inflammatory, neuroprotective, immunomodulatory, and adaptogenic properties. The therapeutic effectiveness of ginseng-based drugs is evaluated across various medical conditions such as cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, neurodegenerative disorders, and immune system modulation.
