"TOʻDA-1 NEOLITHIC SITE STONE TOOLS"
Abstract
The article is dedicated to the technical and typological classification of the stone tools found at the Toʻda-1 cave site in the Boysun Mountains of Southern Uzbekistan, dating back to the Neolithic period. Although the number of stone tools from the Toʻda-1 Neolithic site is small, they are categorized into 11 different types. These tools are primarily made from blades and flakes. In some cases, stone slabs or natural fragments were also used for tool production. The collection of stone tools includes atypical scrapers, cutting tools, retouched blades, retouched plates, retouched microblades, a stone axe, geometric tools, stone wedges, chisels, composite tools, and retouched flakes.
