Abstract

The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and automation in customs operations has significantly improved efficiency, accuracy, and security in global trade. AI-driven solutions enhance risk management, streamline customs clearance processes, and reduce human errors. Automation technologies, such as machine learning, big data analytics, and robotic process automation, have transformed the way customs authorities handle large volumes of trade data. This paper explores the impact of AI and automation on customs operations, reviews existing literature, and presents key findings on their implementation and effectiveness.
