THE PROBLEM OF STYLE AND CHARACTER IN THE NOVEL
Abstract
The article compares the novels of Ulugbek Hamdam and Erich Maria Remarque. In this, the unique aspects of the individual style of the writers are shown by counting the common and different aspects of the two works. The issue of character creation, which is considered an important element in the manifestation of artistic style, has been studied. The opinions of such scientists as Plato, Aristotle, L.Timofeyev, V.E.Khalizev, N.D.Tamarchenko on character creation and character traits are also analyzed. Opinions put forward by scientists are reacted to and personal views are shown.
