Abstract

Corrective feedback is an essential component in developing writing skills, especially for language learners. This article examines various types of corrective feedback including direct, indirect, metalinguistic, peer, and technology-mediated feedback. The effectiveness of each type is analyzed in relation to learner proficiency, motivation, and autonomy. Findings suggest that a balanced approach combining different feedback types tailored to learner needs enhances both accuracy and learner engagement. The article also highlights the importance of a supportive learning environment and the potential of technology to complement traditional feedback methods.
