THE INFLUENCE OF METAPHORS IN UZBEK POLITICAL NEWS.
Abstract
Metaphors in Uzbek political news shape public perception by framing narratives, evoking emotions, and influencing opinions. This study analyzes 100 articles from major Uzbek news sources, identifying common metaphors like war, journey, and health. The findings show that metaphors simplify complex issues, elicit emotions, and shape narratives, impacting how people engage with political news in Uzbekistan.
