MODERN IRRIGATION TECHNOLOGIES ARE THE NEED OF THE HOUR

Abstract

As a result of the rapid increase in the world population, the demand for food products increases day by day. This, in turn, increases the responsibility of agriculture and water management workers. we should think  “Water” as the source of our life and a precious gift, which is worth as much as gold, inherited from our ancestors.  Drinkable water is only taken 2.5% of the total water in the world. The remaining 97.5% of the water consists of salt water that cannot be used by human. Nowadays, using water effectively and obtaining a high and stable, high-quality harvest depends on the knowledge, skill and experience of the farmer. Today, water-saving irrigation technologies have attracted everyone's attention, which have entered the lives of our farmers.
