Abstract

This article deals with one of the most discussed points in modern linguistics: that is relation between culture and language. It focuses on phraseological units and their having linguo-cultural features. Most phraseological units represent some elements, issues related to culture of the nation, society or group. Phraseological units are considered to be mirrors of culture as they contain a lot of data related to history, mentality, customs and traditions of the nation. This article discusses these moments.
