Abstract

This article examines the mechanisms of conflict prevention using mediation in the context of the social education of an individual. The focus is placed on the importance of mediation as a tool for developing communication skills, eliminating stereotypes, and fostering critical thinking. The article outlines the key stages of the mediation process, including the preparatory phase, listening, identifying common interests, generating solutions, and reaching an agreement. Examples of the application of mediation in educational settings, social services, and public organizations are provided. It is emphasized that the implementation of mediation practices contributes to the creation of more harmonious social relationships and the reduction of conflict levels.
