Abstract

The article examines phraseological units containing numerals in the Russian language, focusing on their structural and semantic characteristics. The analysis highlights the frequency and functional roles of numerals such as one, two, three, five, and seven within idiomatic expressions. The study outlines how these phraseological units contribute to the conciseness, expressiveness, and figurative nature of speech. It also explores methodological approaches for integrating the study of numeral-based idioms into Russian language instruction, emphasizing their role in enhancing linguistic competence and stylistic awareness. The research is grounded in the systematic classification of phraseological units and their practical application in educational contexts.
