RECOMMENDATIONS ON MODERNIZATION OF LIBRARY EDUCATION TAKING INTO ACCOUNT THE TRANSFORMATION OF LIBRARIANSHIP IN UZBEKISTAN IN MODERN CONDITIONS
Abstract
The article considers the main directions of modernization of library education in Uzbekistan in terms of the transformation of librarianship and the digitalization of society. Emphasis is placed on the need to adapt educational programs to modern challenges, including the development of digital skills, information literacy and the introduction of innovative technologies in the educational process. Recommendations for improving academic standards, strengthening international cooperation and enhancing the professional training of librarians are also presented. The conclusions emphasize the importance of synergy between traditional approaches and modern technologies in the development of library education.
