THE JADIDS' UNIQUE APPROACHES TO THE SPIRITUAL EDUCATION OF YOUTH
Abstract
This article examines the perspectives of the Jadids, who were active in the Turkestan region at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th centuries, regarding the spiritual upbringing of youth. The study analyzes the Jadids’ emphasis on integrating national and religious values with modern knowledge. Their efforts to establish new-method schools, encourage critical thinking among youth, and use the press as an educational tool are highlighted. It is emphasized that the Jadids’ approaches to education and upbringing remain highly relevant today.
