Abstract

This article is devoted to the interpretation of the concept of syntactic transformation and ways of using them in translation. Different aspects of language units in syntactic relation are analyzed and their specific features are highlighted.  The article examines the interaction of syntactic transformations with other modifications. Also, the effect of complex translation transformations on expressing the discursive form of the original text in the translation is analyzed.
