INNOVATIVE APPROACHES TO TEACHING FOREIGN LANGUAGES IN THE CLASSROOM
Abstract
This study investigates the effectiveness of innovative teaching methods in foreign language classrooms, focusing on Communicative Language Teaching (CLT), Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT), and the integration of technology. The research utilizes a mixed-methods approach, including a literature review, surveys, interviews, and classroom observations, to explore how these approaches enhance student engagement, language proficiency, and real-world language use. Results show that CLT and TBLT significantly improve students’ communication skills, while technology enhances interactive learning and vocabulary acquisition. The study concludes that innovative teaching methods offer significant benefits for language learning but require better resources and teacher training to maximize their potential.
