DIFFERENT WAYS OF TEACHING VOCABULARY FOR A2-LEVEL STUDENTS
Abstract
This article explores traditional and modern approaches to vocabulary teaching for A2-level students, focusing on their application in diverse educational contexts. Traditional methods, such as direct instruction and the Grammar-Translation Method, are analyzed alongside modern communicative approaches like Task-Based Learning (TBL) and digital tools. The integration of gamification is also discussed, highlighting its potential to enhance engagement and vocabulary retention. Practical recommendations are provided for teachers to design effective and balanced strategies to foster vocabulary acquisition in students.
