Abstract

Modern linguistics, which studies language as a form of social practice, focuses on the whole range of humanitarian knowledge, which makes it possible to explain and describe various processes of verbal communication. Linguistics is increasingly focused on solving "external" tasks, which implies a diverse application of linguistic data not only for studying objects from other fields of science, but also for realizing human needs in productive, effective communication. One of the objects capable of comprehensively reflecting new interdisciplinary trends is discourse.
