Abstract

This article analyzes the introduction of Arabic script to Movarounnahr, its popularization process, and its role in the region's cultural and educational life. The spread of Arabic script in Movarounnahr was closely linked to the introduction of Islam and its extensive application in education, science, calligraphy, and architecture. The article explores the significance of Rasmul Mus’haf in preserving Qur’anic texts, the influence of Arabic script on the development of calligraphy schools, and its interaction with local scripts. Additionally, the use of Arabic script in architecture and its influence on social life are examined. It highlights the pivotal role of Arabic script in fostering cultural and artistic development in Movarounnahr.
