LINGUISTIC FEATURES OF THE SYMBOLISTS' CREATIVITY
Abstract
In this article we will consider the main linguistic features of symbolist creativity in the mainstream of linguistic innovations. Particular attention is paid to the creativity of key literary figures such as Z.N. Gippius and D.S. Merezhkovsky, as well as word composition as a way of replenishing the lexical composition of symbolists.
