MORPHOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF CHANGES IN THE EPIDERMAL LAYER IN PALMAR PSORIASIS
Abstract
This article considers palmar psoriasis (palmoplantar psoriasis) as a clinically distinctive, therapy-resistant dermatosis that negatively affects work capacity. The paper highlights the morphological changes observed in the epidermal layer in palmar psoriasis, their pathogenetic basis, and diagnostic significance. Features such as hyperkeratosis, parakeratosis, acanthosis, alterations of the granular layer, and Munro microabscesses are analyzed.
