Abstract

This article examines the history of the development of informatics, its stages of evolution, and its current role in modern society. It highlights the importance of information technologies in education, medicine, economics, and industry, as well as the advancement of artificial intelligence and the digital economy. The paper also discusses the implementation of the “Digital Uzbekistan – 2030” strategy and its contribution to the country’s digital transformation.
