Abstract

This article explores the cultural functions of Uzbek and Chinese children's songs and examines methods of their use in educational practice. It discusses how children's folk songs in both cultures serve as tools for transmitting cultural values, social norms, and language to younger generations. The study provides specific examples of children's songs and demonstrates how they are integrated into early childhood education and language learning. Drawing on the dissertation’s findings, it highlights pedagogical approaches that utilize music and folklore to enhance children's development and concludes with recommendations for preserving and leveraging this heritage in modern education.
