Abstract

This article examines the development and implementation of social protection policies in New Uzbekistan as a key element of the country’s socio-economic strategy for 2022–2026. It highlights the government’s efforts to increase budget allocations, expand coverage of vulnerable groups, and introduce innovative mechanisms to improve social welfare. The study analyzes institutional reforms, including the establishment of the National Social Protection Agency and targeted social assistance programs that have contributed to poverty reduction and enhanced living standards. The article situates Uzbekistan’s social protection system within the broader international context, emphasizing its commitment to human dignity, social justice, and sustainable development.
