Language play, defined by wordplay, puns, and creative linguistic constructions, gives both native speakers and language learners the chance to creatively and playfully explore the limits of language. The study emphasizes how language play promotes creativity, critical thinking, and participation, making it especially pertinent in communicative and educational situations. It also explores the sociolinguistic ramifications of language play, showing how it influences group dynamics and cultural identity.
