DISTINCTIVE FEATURES OF THE WEDDING MOTIF IN ABDULLA QAHHOR'S NOVEL "SAROB"
Abstract
Abdulla Qahhor's novel Sarob is a significant work of literature that deeply analyzes social, psychological, and spiritual issues. One of the central motifs in the novel is the wedding, which is not depicted merely as a romantic event but as a reflection of the internal struggles, dreams, and conflicts of the characters in their pursuit of their goals. The protagonist, Asadbek, views the wedding ceremony as an important stage in his journey toward happiness and the realization of his aspirations. At the same time, the wedding motif also serves as an important tool in highlighting social injustice, inequality, and the challenges within society.
