FEATURES OF THE APPROACH TO ELIMINATING AGGRESSION IN A GROUP OF ADOLESCENTS
Abstract
In recent years, a number of innovative studies have been conducted in psychology around the world to address aggression. For example, a 2019 study led by Didehbani, N. showed that virtual reality therapy can be effective in anger management. Participants improved their anger management skills by simulating conflict situations through virtual reality [1]. A 2020 study by S. G. Hofmann and A. F. Gomez found that using meditation techniques in combination with cognitive behavioral therapy reduced aggression by 30% [2]. A 2021 study by S. M. Jones and J. Kahn showed that social-emotional education programs in adolescents reduced violence by 40% [3]. In 2022, neurobiological studies by A. Raine and Y. Yang revealed the possibility of controlling aggression by activating the prefrontal cortex of the brain [4]. The increasing scope of such studies suggests that approaches that focus on some aspects of aggression in adolescents are yielding significant results.
