Abstract

The connection between other human qualities and emotional intelligence is often confused, sometimes even by psychologists, leading to an unclear understanding of what emotional intelligence truly is and how people can use it effectively. Emotional intelligence is a critical aspect of human interaction and personal development. But its true nature and benefits are often misunderstood. This article clarifies the concept of emotional intelligence by providing clear insights into the role of identifying, understanding, and regulating emotions. It explores how these abilities enable individuals to navigate social and professional environments with greater success. Furthermore, the article shows the significance of emotional intelligence in academic settings, illustrating its direct impact on student performance and overall academic success.
