TEACHING ENGLISH EFFECTIVELY USING CORPUS LINGUISTICS: CORPUS ANALYSIS TOOLS.
Abstract
This work focuses on the role of Corpus Linguistics in data-driven English teaching. It emphasizes how integrating authentic language data through linguistic corpora bridges the gap between classroom teaching and real-world language use. The significance of data-driven methodologies in enhancing vocabulary acquisition, grammar instruction, and contextual learning is highlighted, offering a modern approach to teaching English as a foreign language. Corpus Linguistics offers innovative methods for enhancing English language teaching by providing authentic language data and insights into real-world usage. It discusses key tools and strategies for integrating corpus-based approaches into classroom practices to improve language acquisition. Empirical studies are reviewed to demonstrate the effectiveness of this approach, and recommendations are provided for educators aiming to adopt Corpus Linguistics in teaching process.
