FEATURES OF INFORMATIONAL GENRES IN THE COLUMNS OF TAJIK PERIODICAL PRESS
Abstract
The article discusses the place and features of the news genre in the newspapers "Jumhuriyat" and "Javononi Tojikiston." The author primarily focuses on the specifics of the genre itself. In his opinion, the foundation of journalistic information lies in the relationship between form and meaning. The meaning is defined through a certain form. For the recipient of the information, the meaning is important, while the genre of the material is not as significant. However, to ensure clarity and accessibility, the journalist uses a specific format. Therefore, journalism cannot be imagined without genres because a journalistic piece begins with the understanding of genre conventions and their purposeful use. The product of creativity has two aspects – form and meaning. Of course, its meaning consists of the issues addressed by the journalist, but this meaning and content are expressed through a specific format. These formats are the genres of journalism.
