CHARACTERISTICS AND CLASSIFICATIONS OF EMOTIONS IN LINGUISTICS
Abstract
Emotions play a crucial role in human communication, influencing not only our social interactions but also the structure and meaning of language. In linguistics, emotions are studied from multiple perspectives, including semantics, pragmatics, psycholinguistics, and discourse analysis. Understanding how emotions are expressed and categorized in language helps researchers uncover deeper insights into human cognition and social behavior. This article is devoted to characteristics and classifications of emotion which is one of disputable issues in modern Linguistics. And this work proposes to study different approaches of scholars and researches about this matter.
