Abstract

The article examines the clinical aspects, pathogenetic treatment methods, and preventive measures against tooth demineralization in pregnant women during the first trimester with toxicosis symptoms. The study emphasizes the importance of early diagnosis and treatment of dental diseases to prevent potential complications in both the mother and the fetus. It discusses hormonal changes and their impact on dental health, the necessity of using safe treatment methods and anesthesia. The article analyzes the causes of accelerated tooth demineralization due to a deficiency of calcium and other minerals necessary for the formation of the fetal skeleton. Recommendations for oral hygiene and precautions for dental treatment during the first trimester of pregnancy are provided.
