Abstract

This article examines the challenges associated with translating idiomatic expressions from English into Uzbek and developing appropriate translations that facilitate this process. It analyzes and discusses detailed information about the origin and meaning of these expressions, as well as important statements by prominent translation experts. The study primarily focuses on English phraseological units related to vegetables, analyzing their translations into Uzbek, identifying problems, and proposing effective solutions to preserve both meaning and cultural relevance in the target language.
