Abstract

This article explores the intricate relationship between stress and the central nervous system, highlighting the physiological and biochemical changes that occur in response to stressors. It delves into the neurobiological mechanisms underlying stress, including alterations in neurotransmitter levels, neuroinflammation, and structural changes in brain regions such as the hippocampus and prefrontal cortex. Additionally, the article examines the impact of stress on immune function, emphasizing how chronic stress can lead to dysregulation of the immune response, resulting in increased susceptibility to various diseases. By integrating findings from recent studies, the article aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of how stress not only affects the CNS but also serves as a critical factor in shaping immunological indicators, offering insights into potential therapeutic interventions for stress-related disorders.
