REVOLUTIONIZING TRANSLATION WHILE ADDRESSING CAT TOOL LIMITATIONS
Abstract
This article gives a detailed analysis of machine translation, exploring its fundamental concepts, primary types, and historical development. It delves into the definitions and practical applications of MAHT (Machine-Aided Human Translation) and HAMT (Human-Aided Machine Translation), along with examples of tools associated with each approach. Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) examines the level of effort required by translators, the challenges they face when utilizing these tools, and the strategies available to address and mitigate these difficulties. Furthermore, the discussion highlights the benefits and limitations of Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) systems.
