Abstract
The pineal gland, a neuroendocrine organ, plays a pivotal role in regulating circadian rhythms and hormonal secretion. Dysfunction of this gland can lead to a spectrum of neurological disorders, including sleep disturbances, neurodegenerative conditions, and psychiatric manifestations. This article reviews the pathophysiology, clinical implications, and therapeutic approaches for pineal-related neurological disorders, emphasizing melatonin’s role in neural homeostasis.
